Calumet and Hecla Inc. and Quincy Mining Company Project Records
Records, 1995-1996, of the Michigan Technological University Archives and Copper Country Historical Collections' acquisition and processing of the Calumet and Hecla Inc. and Quincy Mining Company Records. Funded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, the project included organizing the records of two Upper Peninsula copper mining collections to provide access to researchers.

Collection, 1901-1975, of Frank C. Schwarzenberg, a 1917 graduate of the Michigan College of Mines (now Michigan Technological University) in Houghton, Michigan. Includes maps and blueprints of the Houghton and Hancock area, geological maps of the Copper Range, clippings, mine reports, technical machine data and correspondence.

Collection, circa 1863-circa 1883, of mining company records compiled by Lawrence J. Remington of Houghton, Michigan. Includes stock certificates, insurance policies, indenture letters, bills and receipts, correspondence, inventories and other printed ephemera from the South Pewabic Copper Company, Sheldon Mining Company of Lake Superior, Columbian Mining Company, Quincy Mining Company and Douglass Houghton Mining Company.

Quincy Mining Company Smelter Theft Letters
Letters, 1923-1924, series of correspondence between a Quincy Mining Company Smelter superintendent and a former worker, Charles Heikkinen, regarding the theft of copper and repayment. Heikkinen contacts the Quincy Mining Company Smelter 16 years after the theft in order to repay the value of 16 pounds of copper.
