Formerly operated by the Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company, the station was located at Tamarack Junior location, owned by the Osceola Mining Company. Second volume is a drill attendance book for the Navy Reserve fleet based in Hancock, Michigan.

Includes photographs of the processing building, equipment and workers in the cleaning, filleting and packaging room. U.P. Fisheries, Inc. is probably a subsequent name of Lake Superior Fisheries, a fisherman-owned co-operative active during the 1940s.
