Biography
The United States Navy operated a radio station with call sign NUG in Calumet, Michigan. It was formerly owned and operated by the Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company of America with the call sign WCM. The radio station was taken over by the U. S. Navy in April, 1917 and was located at Tamarack Junior location, owned by the Osceola Mining Company.
