Includes a series of letters from various companies and government agencies in response to Park's request for information on either the use of or recommendation of a spectrograph for the quantitative and qualitative determination of impurities in copper and iron.

Funded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, the project included organizing the records of two Upper Peninsula copper mining collections to provide access to researchers.
