Includes handwritten notes, excerpts from other sources, maps, newspaper articles and photographs. The main focus of the collected documents is Michigan's Lake Gogebic region, but some surrounding towns are included as well.

Map collection, circa 1896-circa 1966, of the Calumet and Hecla Mining Company in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula. Includes geological maps of surface and underground mines and properties owned by the company as well as properties owned by other entities. Also includes some mechanical drawings of machinery and building plans for company-owned buildings.
