William J. Uren Papers
Papers, 1900-1925, of William J. Uren of Houghton, Michigan. Includes photographs of the Ahmeek Mill construction, building of the Douglas Houghton Memorial in Eagle River, Michigan as well as other mining related images. Also includes postcards, newspaper clippings and two legal briefs on the proceedings of the Calumet and Hecla Mining Company acquisition of the Bigelow group of mines, including the Ahmeek, Isle Royale, Osceola Consolidated, Seneca and Tamarack Mining Companies.
