Biography

William S. Thomas was a one-time resident of Eagle River, Michigan and native of Detroit. At various times he worked as a county clerk for Eagle River, an attorney and a miner. He was also an amateur botanist with special attention paid to wild flowers between Eagle River and Copper Harbor.
