Cleveland-Cliffs Iron Company Forest Survey Records
Forest survey records, 1896-1943, describing land owned by the company on Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Along with the survey notes are copies of notes prepared by Henry S. Graves in 1896 as part of his working plan for the management of the company's forest lands and a copy of a report on forest management of the area in the 1930s, written by J. W. Toumey. The land described in these records extends from the edge of the Ottawa National Forest to Sault Ste. Marie.

Design proposal, 1986-1987, for a compact skidder for small logging operations by the Western U. P. Forest Improvement District (doing business as Forest Restoration, Inc. of Pelkie, Michigan). Includes photographs of the VTR 2000 and prototype blueprints as well a written proposal for grant funding, specifications, and a letter of support for the grant proposal.
