Edwin J. Collins Collection
Collection, 1897-1956, of Edwin J. Collins, a veteran of the Spanish-American War, a 1903 graduate of the Michigan College of Mines (later Michigan Technological University) and eventual member of the board of directors for the Calumet and Arizona Mining Company. Includes diaries, photographs, textbooks, instruments and mine maps of properties he worked on as well as several souvenir spoons and service medals from the Spanish-American War.
Elizabeth Fichtel Collection
Collection, 1873-1926, compiled by Elizabeth Fichtel. Includes commencement invitations for Hancock High School, Lake Linden High School and the Michigan Mining School as well as invitations to local parties, some printed on fabric or sheets of copper. Also contains stock certificates from various mining companies in Arizona, Minnesota, and Michigan in addition to lumber, truck body and development businesses.
