Reminiscences, circa 1909-circa 1937, of Alfred Nicholls, a Cornish miner who emigrated to Michigan's Copper Country in 1882. Includes stories of the life of the Cornish immigrant at Central Mine and Calumet. Some may be copies of his regular newspaper stories about Central Mine and his romantic look at the town in its working days.
