The Parade of Nations is an annual multicultural event in Houghton, Michigan, established in 1989 to honor and celebrate the region’s diverse cultural heritage. Deeply rooted in the history of Michigan’s Copper Country, the parade serves as a platform for recognizing both cultural distinctions and shared human experiences, promoting unity and inclusivity. As the largest multicultural celebration in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, it attracts participants and spectators from across the state and neighboring Wisconsin.
