Audio recordings, circa 1973-1978, containing oral histories from Copper Country residents, copies of broadcasts on the area, and Central Mine reunions. Topics addressed by oral histories include personal political activity, reflections on Michigan's history, folklore, and experiences residing in the Upper Peninsula in the early 20th century. Recordings of Central Mine reunions include the church service held at the Central Mine Methodist Church. "The Copper Country: A Self Portrait - Part Two," a program produced by the University of Michigan Broadcasting Service, completes the collection.
