Historical Note

The August 9, 1944 fire in Hancock, Michigan destroyed a substantial portion of of the Kauth Block along Quincy Street in downtown Hancock. Among the properties destroyed were the Halls Pharmacy (220 Quincy), the Dover Music House (222 Quincy), and the Three Winners Store (218 Quincy).
