Scope and Contents
Scrapbook, 1961-1974, of the Houghton Branch of the Michigan Department of Public Health. Included are photographs of staff and facilities at the Houghton Branch of the MDPH, including interior and demolition photographs of their former facility (1943-1972) in Koenig Hall on the Michigan Technological University campus; as well as their new offices above the ROTC rifle range. Also included are photographs of staff retirement parties and celebrations. The collection also includes one loose photograph of a state facility in Michigan, possible Eloise Psychiatric Hospital in Westland, Michigan.
