Biographical / Historical
WMPL, pronounced “Wimple,” is an AM radio station located in Hancock, Michigan, broadcasting under the frequency 920 kHz. The station was established in March of 1957. Mitch Lake is a veteran of nearly 40 years in local radio and an employee of WMPL, delivering the day’s news, sports, funeral announcements, and more on his program Mitch in the Morning.
