Scope and Contents

Promotional/publicity photographs, approximately 1980-2000, from the Michigan Technological University Cultural Enrichment (UCE) and the Student Entertainment Board (SEB). Collection includes headshots and publicity photographs for entertainers, performers, and special guests who presented on the Michigan Technological University campus by arrangement from the UCE and SEB. A small portion of the collection also documents members and activities of the UCE and the SEB. Included with the photographs are 35 mm negative strips and contact sheets.

Biographical / Historical

The Michigan Technological University Student Entertainment Board was established as a student organization with the purpose of organizing and presenting contemporary performances and events for the Michigan Tech campus and community.

The Michigan Technological University Cultural Enrichment was established to administer the activities of three university programming boards, including the Student Entertainment Board, the Memorial Union Board, and the Committee for Campus Enrichment.University Cultural Enrichment and its associated programming boards were responsible for the programming and events at Michigan Tech.
