Historical Note
Materials in the Michigan Technological University Student Photography Collection were created in part by students in the university's forestry program during the mid-1990s, although subjects pertaining to forestry figure into the collection only tangentially. As a result, it seems likely that these materials originated in a student project or from a course designed to broaden the scope of undergraduate education at Michigan Tech.
