Historical note
The Freshman Handbook served as an introduction to the Michigan College of Mines (now Michigan Technological University) in Houghton, Michigan, its surroundings, history, and tradition. This 1922-1923 volume was the second edition, conceived by the Student Council for the guidance of newly arrived Michigan College of Mines men.
