Biography
Captain John H. Bruce, USCG (Ret.) was Congressman Philip Ruppe's aide for the Committee on Merchant Marine and Fisheries in the House of Representatives. Bruce retired from the United States Coast Guard to accept this position. Prior to his retirement in 1975, Bruce was captain of the Coast Guard cutter MACKINAW (built 1944).
