Biography
The University Women's Connection (formerly the University Women's Club) is an organization for women from Michigan Technological University and the University's community in Houghton, Michigan. Half of the annual dues is used to support scholarships for deserving Tech students. The UWC sponsors three events a year and interest groups such as a book club. The University Women's Connection provides opportunities for women from throughout the campus community to meet in fun and friendship, to develop interests and to use their talents in service to the community.
