Baril Family Genealogy
Collection Scope and Contents
Genealogy, 1992-2007, of the Baril family lineage. The genealogical research was compiled into a book called "Our Family," written by Mary Jean Schoos-Wiitanen. "Our Family" traces several branches of the Baril, Turcotte, Houle, Rivard, Lanouette, Schoos, and Sanchegrin family names as the family migrated from France to Canada, and then eventually the United States. Family members have settled in various parts of the United States with some establishing permanent residence in Hancock and Lake Linden, Michigan.This collection includes loose, printout pages of the book "Our Family."
