Biography
The Lake Superior Fisheries company was a subsidiary of the Northern Co-operatives, Inc. of Hancock, Michigan. Organized by Finnish immigrant fishermen from Portage Entry, Big and Little Traverse and Gay, the Lake Superior Fisheries filleted ten to twelve thousand pounds of fish daily.
