Biography

In 1968, the Houghton High School Band from Houghton, Michigan attempted to get an invitation to march in the Inauguration Parade for President Richard M. Nixon in January, 1969. Only one band from each state was selected and the Houghton High School Band lost out to the Holland Christian High School Band from Holland, Michigan.
