Collection, circa 1903-circa 1918, of material of Andrew Jackson, a 1913 graduate of the Michigan College of Mines in Houghton, Michigan. Includes photograph albums with captions of family photographs of the Jackson and Rowe families, local scenery, student field trips and activities at the Michigan College of Mines (including snowball fights and athletic team photographs), and scenes of road construction. Also includes loose photographs of family members, field notebooks, two diplomas from the Michigan College of Mines and several first aid certificates.

Biography
Andrew Jackson was a 1913 graduate of the Michigan College of Mines in Houghton, Michigan and worked as a road engineer after graduation. Jackson was responsible for laying out much of Route 2 in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
