Historical Note

The historic former Red Jacket Fire Station was built of Jacobsville sandstone around the turn of the century. The first floor displays vintage firefighting equipment including vehicles. The second floor features exhibits dedicated to the history of firefighting in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
