Biography
Wesley E. Perron was an avid railroad enthusiast who collected information on a wide variety of topics concerning railroading in northern Michigan. He was born on 15 November 1907 in Minneapolis, the son of Edward and Henriette (Hurst) Perron. He lived in Marquette since 1952 after moving from Duluth. Perron worked as a traffic manager for the Soo Line railroad until his retirement in 1973. He died on 17 March 1995 (Obituary, Marquette Journal, 19 March 1995).
