From the Collection:

Collection, circa 1919-circa 1956, of the Superior Upper Peninsula Chapter of the American Red Cross. Includes a manuscript history of the organization's history, written circa 1919, describing the work of the chapter during World War I as well as the staffing of an emergency hospital set up at the Michigan College of Mines to combat the influenza epidemic of 1918. Also contains minutes of the chapter as well as correspondence, membership lists and other office documents.
