From the Collection:

Papers, 1908-1975, 2015, of the Meinardi Family of Hancock, Michigan. The collection principally contains the business records of John Meinardi, an Italian immigrant and owner of Meinardi’s grocery store of Hancock. Records include stock inventories, licenses and permits; tax records and other financial records documenting the business of the store. Also included are records pertaining to Meinardi’s other business ventures prior to the establishment of the grocery store and include financial records pertaining to his work in the wine and liquor industry and the running of the Lyric Theatre in Houghton.
