Collection, 1990-1997, of the research materials collected by Marsha E. Penti as she was preparing to write and defend her dissertation, "Religious Identites in the Composition Class: Learning from Students of Difference." The dissertation research was partially funded by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE). This collection includes recorded interviews, interview transcripts, field notes, student English papers, conference presentations, progress reports, and some miscellaneous documents.
