Polkinghorne, a professor and the first head of the Civil Engineering Department at then Michigan College of Mining and Technology (now Michigan Technological University) in Houghton, Michigan. Includes diary pages, correspondence, degree and membership certificates, clippings, and photographs. Also includes correspondence, clippings, and church programs collected by his father, Reverend Stephen Polkinghorne.
