Research collection, undated, about Nancy Harkness Love, compiled by Richard M. Rupley, a professor at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan and local historian. Nancy Harkness Love was an American pilot and commander during World War II and is credited with the creation of the Women's Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron (WAFS) and its successor organization, the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP). Includes correspondence, articles, newspaper clippings, photographs, and research notes.
