Lake Gogebic Correspondence: Charles D. Hanchette (Vice-President and Attorney), 1911 - 1912
Scope and Contents
Around 1911, the office began filing Lake Gogebic related correspondence in a separate file from the central correspondence file. Correspondence with Graves regarding Lake Gogebic seems to have been sometimes filed in this subseries and sometimes in the separate Graves subseries.
Most of the correspondence relates to Bergland Dam, although the most important material relating to the lengthy dispute with G. A. Bergland can be found in Series IV: General Files.
