Biographical / Historical

The Copper Range Foundation (1953-1976) was a charitable foundation organized by the Copper Range Company. It primarily provided money to other charitable organizations in Michigan, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New York. When the foundation followed its parent company to New York City in 1962, it reoriented to focus on providing college scholarships to the children of Copper Range Company employees.
