Biographical / Historical

Carl O. Bay (1896-1987) was an Ontonagon attorney who provided legal assistance to the Copper Range Company's Land Department (later Lands and Forestry Division) from the 1940s to 1964. After forty-two years of practicing law in Ontonagon, he moved to Houghton in 1964 to work full time as the Land Department's Counsel. Bay retired in 1968.
